Michael Cremeens

Michael Cremeens brings experience and knowledge to the classroom, with industry exposure over the last 38 years that runs the gambit from field technician to conveyor belt manufacturing, rubber processing expert in various positions.

He has led many well-attended multi-day technical training sessions in more than twenty-five countries and instructed more than 5,000 people in the last 40 years.

Mike has authored numerous papers for industry publications and speaks at many industry gatherings (both private & public).

Mike was the Chair of the NIBA Edu/Tech Committee (National Industrial Belting Association) and has led their Heavy Weight Conveyor Belt training sessions for many years.

Mike works for Shaw Almex Industries and in his role as VP Training & Technical Support he does many sessions each year for service companies and global mining operations. He enjoys continuing to learn about unique applications and out of the box solutions on conveyor belt & splice performance.

He brings fun and passion to these sessions.

Dick McConnell

Richard "Dick" McConnell has 30 years of experience in the industry. He combines understanding conveyor operation with the aptitude to engage attendees in training environments. Throughout years troubleshooting conveyor performance in all manner of industries, he’s developed a basis for understanding big picture belt operations. From field training on job sites to creating and presenting conveyor performance training on a national level, the focus is keeping the class on topic and interactive.

Dick is currently National Account/OEM Manager for Flexco focused on conveyor projects throughout North America and beyond. He is active with industry trade organizations such as National Industrial Belting Association (former HD Sub-Chair, current Training Coordinator), National Stone Sand and Gravel Association (Material and Services Board Member) and active with Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association.
