NIBA Hall of Fame

The Selection Committee will work with the NIBA Executive Committee to discuss nominations and bring candidates to a Board vote:

• Committee will meet once per year, prior to June Board Meeting. Meeting does not have to be in person.
• Consisting of five (5) of the most recent Past-Presidents of NIBA
• Selection Committee will submit a Nomination will be submitted to the Board of Directors
• There does not have to be a nomination submitted every year.

• Demonstrated outstanding leadership in the industry for more than 10+ years.
• Recognized for going above and beyond with service to the Association and an ambassador for the industry.
• Contributed significant time and effort to encourage and foster involvement of others both individuals and companies in the association.
• Has served on NIBA committees, a task force, and/or the Board of Directors, but never served on the Executive Board

• Hours of volunteer time
• Years of membership
• Years of service on committees
• Additional service to NIBA
• Mentorship role
• Cross competitive barriers for the good for the Association
• Leads by example and actions.
• Steps up to volunteer time outside of expectations of committee involvement

Once an individual or individuals have been identified by the Selection Committee, as a candidate(s) for the Hall of Fame, the nomination will be presented to the Board of Directors for discussion and vote on if the criteria is sufficiently met to recommend presenting the award. Upon majority approval of the Board, the award shall be presented at the next Annual Convention.

Prior to the Annual Convention, 30-45 days, the current President will advise the selected candidate of the impending Award.

The recipient of the NIBA Hall of Fame Award shall receive awards (a $500 gift card, plaque, etc.), recognition, as well as free registration for all future Annual Conventions.

Continual funding of the Award will be perpetrated by a single sponsorship from member companies each year.
