Q: What’s Included with my registration?Â
A: Member and Prospective Member registration includes all Convention-provided meals plus educational programming and expo access throughout the Convention. Wednesday’s Opening Dinner Event, Thursday’s Manufacturer Hospitality Hub Happy Hour and Suite Night, plus Friday’s Closing Event are also included. Additional fees apply for optional activities such as the Golf Outing, local tours, etc.Â
Prospective members MUST submit an  application by August 1, 2026 to be able to register for the event. NIBA will close prospective member registration after August 1 with no exceptions. Contact Jackie Kimball for any questions at jkimball@niba.org.Â

Q: Are children required to register?Â
A: Children under 18 may attend the Convention events at no charge. Attendees over 18 must register under the Spouse/Guest Participant option.Â
Q: Where can I access items such as exhibitor and registration lists or speaker presentation materials?Â
A: The NIBA 2026 Annual Convention will be paperless! Access Convention information via the Convention mobile app. Watch for emails from NIBA with directions for downloading the app at least two weeks prior to the event.Â

Q: Will internet be available during the meeting?Â
A: Complimentary WiFi will be available throughout the Convention meeting space. Credentials to access the meeting space WiFi will be provided onsite.Â

Q: What is the Convention dress attire?Â
A: Leave your ties and business suits at home! Business casual best describes the NIBA Annual Convention attire. San Diego in early September offers warm, sunny days and comfortably cool evenings, with temperatures typically ranging from the mid-60s to upper 70s. Attendees are encouraged to dress in light, business-casual attire during the day, with a light layer for evenings by the water. Comfortable shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended for enjoying all the outdoor experiences the destination has to offer.

Q: What is the Convention Cancellation Policy?Â
A: Confirmed registrations must be canceled by Monday, August 3, 2026 to receive a refund of the amount paid, less a $200 administrative charge. No refunds shall be made after August 3. Cancellations must be received by the stated cancellation deadline and will only be accepted in writing to  jkimball@niba.org. NIBA is not responsible for refunding any canceled registrations due to weather or other travel cancellations/interruptions. We recommend purchasing traveler’s insurance to cover any potential issues that may arise.Â

Q: What is the Expo Booth Cancellation Policy?Â
A: All Expo booth commitments are non-refundable.Â
