NIBA Annual Convention FAQs
Risk-Free Registration means that you can cancel your registration, for any reason and with no penalty, by September 10. If you decide to cancel, you will receive a full refund. Expo booths can also be canceled without penalty, by September 10. Cancelations must be received by the stated cancellation deadline and will only be accepted in writing to email@example.com. We recommend purchasing traveler’s insurance to cover other incidental travel costs such as airline tickets that may be canceled due to inclement weather or other travel cancellations/interruptions.
Member and Prospective Member registration includes breakfast on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday plus educational programming and expo access taking place during these Convention days. Thursday's Opening Dinner Event, Friday's Manufacturer Hospitality Suite Night, and Saturday’s Closing Dinner Event are also included. Additional fees apply for optional tours/activities such as golf, tours, Fun Run/Walk, etc.
Prospective members MUST submit an application by July 1, 2020 to be able to register for the event. NIBA will close prospective member registration after July 1 with no exceptions. Contact Jackie Fowler for any questions, jflower@niba,org

Children under 18 may attend the Convention events at no charge. Attendees over 18 must register under the Spouse/Guest Participant option.
The NIBA 2020 Annual Convention will be paperless! Access Convention information via the Convention mobile app. Watch for emails from NIBA with directions for accessing and downloading the app at least one week before the Convention. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about the availability of printed items.
Complimentary WiFi will be available throughout the NIBA meeting space at the Hilton Austin. Credentials to access the meeting space WiFi will be provided as the Convention approaches.
Leave your ties and business suits at home! Business casual best describes the NIBA Annual Convention attire. The average high temperature in September in Austin, Texas is 90°F and average low is 70°F! Refer to the convention schedule for dress requirements for specific Convention events and tours. Remember to pack comfortable shoes if you plan on attending any of our optional tours!
