Rubber Ron Scholarship
NIBA – The Belting Association honors the memory of Ron “Rubber Ron” Roalsen for his ‘common sense’ approach to our industry and the people who work hard within it. Thanks to a grant from Ron’s family, NIBA is pleased to annually offer two (2) Technical Seminar Scholarships for employees of NIBA member companies.
Ron Roalsen always fought for the hard-working men and women who work in NIBA member companies, and the Rubber Ron Scholarship will keep helping those individuals improve their skills.
The winners of this scholarship will meet the requirements for eligibility and will write a short essay. Two winners each year will receive:
• Complete tuition to any NIBA Heavyweight Technical Seminar within the following 12 months, and
• Up to $500 reimbursement for travel expenses for the seminar
• Complete tuition to any NIBA Heavyweight Technical Seminar within the following 12 months, and
• Up to $500 reimbursement for travel expenses for the seminar
How to Apply
Complete the online application with essay in 250 words or fewer, describing how you have used your creativity, experience and skills to solve a belting related problem in the past.
