Industrial Careers Pathway

NIBA is proud to support the PTDA Foundation's workforce development initiative, the Industrial Careers Pathway (ICP).

NIBA represents almost 300 distributors and manufacturers of conveyor belting and related products. Like most firms in the industrial distribution channel, our members face a critical challenge in finding qualified entry-level employees. We strongly believe that this initiative will contribute to the long-term success of our members and the entire channel and are honored to join the roster of associations that support it.

The ICP initiative will help us to address our future workforce needs by supplying a national pipeline of quality-trained individuals to our employers. The ICP initiative will allow our employers to hire people that will be work ready and able to demonstrate both business and technical skills that are focused on the industrial distribution industry's requirements.

The impact of the ICP on our industry will be measured by the increased productivity and profitability that our employers will experience after hiring graduates from this program.
